Earlier this year GM announced the end of Saturn. Known by the iconic tag-line "a different kind of car company," Saturn was an American brand that began in 1990 to combat imports of fuel efficient Japanese vehicles. Chysler's efforts to catch up to the Japanese auto industry was simply too little, too late.
